Social Security Administration Takes ‘Significant Step’ to Improve Access

According to a recent press release, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has taken a “significant step toward improving access” to services.

While the pandemic continues, Social Security Administration offices have remained closed, troubling many seniors. However, this new agreement with the three labor unions seems to bring the SSA one step closer to reopening in-person meetings at their offices.

Until then, you can still contact the SSA through their website or by calling their national toll-free line at 1-800-772-1213.
