Volunteers are helping elderly individuals every day; in Fulton County, Georgia this is no exception. A new enforcement program is aiming to help senior citizens and elderly homeowners take care of their property.

This program, known as the Code Cares Initiative, is one of the first in metro Atlanta to help elderly property owners. Volunteers began their journey by helping out Rachel Bettis, a homeowner needing help for her overgrown yard.
