According to an article from the Social Security Administration (SSA), many individuals rely on meeting in person to get help with Social Security. However, SSA offices are currently unable to take walk-in visitors due to the pandemic. To provide needed assistance to individuals, the Social Security Commissioner, Andrew Saul, has begun a national outreach campaign.

The campaign has several key components including:

  • Working with community groups that can provide individuals with needed assistance
  • Creating advertisements with emphasis on children with disabilities
  • Adding more information and creating additional tools

The article continues, declaring that more information about the campaign will be posted on the SSA blog.

Every senior deserves to have financial security, that is why Senior Security Alliance, our Executive Director, Nensi Fiorenini, and citizens across the country have joined together in this grassroots effort. For more information about what we are doing to help, check out our bill.
