Social Security Benefits Are Taxed as Income

Social Security benefits are taxed as income causing many to lose part of the benefits they rely on.

In fact, according to this article by Christy Bieber, about 50% of retired seniors have a portion of their Social Security benefits taxed upon collection.

That’s why The Senior Security Alliance is stepping in. We are promoting The Senior Citizens Bill of Rights, a bill that would protect the rights of senior citizens to collect the whole of their Social Security benefits.
