The Social Security Administration (SSA) recently made some great changes. Acting Commissioner Kilolo Kijakazi announced during a recent press release the establishment of a new Office of Native American Partnerships within the Office of the Commissioner.
According to the press release, this office will work to create and employ comprehensive programs and policies relating to Native communities. The hope is to enhance the relationship between the Office of the Commissioner and the Tribes while also serving as a point of contact on Tribal affairs.
