After a year of social distancing, many people are anxious to get out and travel again. However, we must continue to be cautious—even after getting vaccinated. That is why several places – like countries in the European Union – are looking to start creating vaccine passports to allow visitors to skip the testing and quarantine requirements.

According to cNet, the new vaccine passports would likely not be a physical passport. Rather they would most likely be in the form of a mobile app that would allow individuals to check requirements to enter a country, hold status of the individual’s last COVID test, and possibly more.

The CDC continues to urge individuals to delay travel plans but has released new guidelines for those who still choose to travel.

Senior Security Alliance urges everyone to take proper precautions and stay safe. Together, we can get to the other side of the pandemic and get back to some sense of normalcy.
