Senior citizens have had to be extra cautious during the pandemic. Unfortunately, for many this meant isolation. However, two teenagers in New Jersey sought out a solution — they created “Bringing Stories to Seniors.”

According to this article, the program has managed to connect with senior citizens throughout the region, allowing volunteers to read stories to seniors over the phone.

It’s no secret that the pandemic has been, and continues to be, difficult on everyone; this is especially true for those most at risk like senior citizens. With Omicron now raging throughout the nation, it is essential we find ways to help those most at risk.
