A year ago, customer service was not a strong point for the Social Security Administration. However, since Andrew Saul took office as the agency’s Commissioner in June 2019, things have vastly improved.
With the implementation of online customer service, Social Security members are able to check their statements, change their address, verify their earnings, and even estimate future benefits.
Through his perseverance and innovation, he has been named a 2020 Influencer of Aging by Next Avenue. The individuals who make this list are people who push the boundaries, changing how society thinks about aging.
