After realizing the customer service crisis they are under, the Social Security Administration (SSA) is looking to increase its staffing.

According to this article, the agency seeks to hire an additional 4,000 workers. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done.

In order to make the necessary changes to their staffing, the Social Security Administration will need more funding to pay for the desired influx of workers.
