With vaccination efforts requiring more and more hands to help give shots, retirees are finding themselves coming out of retirement to help.

During a time in their life when they are to be focusing on relaxation, senior citizens are coming out of retirement to help distribute vaccinations. According to MarylandMatters, hundreds of Maryland medical personnel have returned to the frontlines.

Some of these individuals work for pay, while others are satisfied with volunteering their time; regardless, all of these retirees deserve our thanks as they help us move toward a safer future.
