With Valentine’s Day coming up, Fairfax County, Virginia resident Sabrina Moldt wanted to make sure senior citizens in nursing homes could experience the love and joy the holiday brings. According to Fox5DC, Moldt created and collected over 400 cards from those in her community.

And Moldt is not the only one. There are others looking to spread some love to some of the most vulnerable during these hard times. Joy Hallinan also created a campaign to bring nursing home residents some extra joy.

The Brunswick News states that Hallinan created her own campaign via Facebook asking others to mail cards to nursing home residents.

Both stories remind us that, even during these hard times, it is important to remember to be kind to others. Senior Security Alliance wishes everyone a safe and happy Valentine’s Day.
