A new program in Southbury, Connecticut, has what it believes is the purrrfect solution to help senior citizens battle isolation and loneliness. According to wfsb.com, the program matches local senior citizens with senior cats that would otherwise be destined to live out the remainder of their nine feline lives in a cage, all alone.
However, the program does not stop at providing seniors with companions; it also supplies everything needed to keep the cat happy and healthy.
This program is one of many in operation with the aim of keeping senior citizens in high spirits and connected to others. For more information, find the original post here.
